The Secret Strategy You're Not Using to Get More 1 of 10s

The YouTube Community Tab is a powerful tool that most creators are underusing.

‍

If you want to get more 1 of 10s on your videos, you must start leveraging it.

‍

Right now, creators just upload their videos and hope their subscribers see them.

‍

That’s not enough.

‍

The creators I work with have seen significant increases in views by priming their audience ahead of time.

For example, if we're releasing a video titled "Productivity Masterclass: My System For Beating Procrastination", we start a week early.

We post a question in the community tab: "What's your biggest productivity hack?"

This gets the conversation going.

Next, we follow up with a poll to tease the topic even more.

Then, we announce the video release date and share a behind-the-scenes photo. (btw, photos seem to do waaay better on the community tab than videos/links)

Finally, we pose a debate-worthy question like, "Which is better for productivity: Notion or Evernote?"

This keeps the topic top of mind.

When the video drops, they’re already engaged and eager to watch.

This strategy works.
